RMJ & Associates has experience in design of a wide variety of office buildings ranging from one to twenty stories.  This experience helps us to anticipate and meet the special needs of our clients.  At 2101 Webster Street in Oakland, we implemented one of the first uses of the then state-of-the-art design which combined an eccentric braced framing system with a ductile moment resisting frame to resist seismic loads.  At the Menlo Park Campus for Sun Microsystems we utilized a “beyond the code” approach for the seismic design in order to minimize down-time after a major earthquake.  These and other examples illustrate RMJ’s ability to adapt our design to the needs of our clients.
