In recent years, RMJ & Associates has provided structural design services on a variety of markets and grocery stores for clients such as Whole Foods Market, Andronico’s and Mollie Stone’s.  Our services have ranged from complete shell design to remodeling revisions.  Of particular interest are projects where existing structures have been adapted for market use.  These have required a variety of changes and upgrades to the structural systems in order to suit the needs of the client, including seismic upgrades, elimination of stairs and ramps, and even the lowering of a ground floor and its footings to increase the available headroom.
